We are a non-profit, non-governmental organization. The Kenya-Polish Forum (KPF) is an association that constitutes of Kenyan citizens living in Poland under a leadership of Tricomp’s chairperson, James Ofwona, who is also one of KPF founders. The other founders are Kenyan graduates who studied in Polish universities and Polish citizens who are Kenya lovers. KPF membership is open to anyone who is interested in developing relationships between Kenya and Poland.

Our organization is interested in any activities which can bring benefit to Kenya and includes the following domains:

  • Culture promotion
  • Development of Kenya’s tourism
  • Humanitarian aid
  • Creating new possibilities in education
  • Establishing contacts in trade and diplomacy

Among our most spectacular projects we can count: our participation in launching charter flights between Warsaw and Mombasa, organizing a large event promoting Kenya where the special guests were a group of ‘Maasai’ (a Kenyan tribe) who arrived from Kenya adding splendour to the whole event and various cultural events such as the Afroenthusiasts Festival, Humanitarian Aid Actions e.g. Tractor for Kenya Aid Action. Due to KPF’s influence, the ‘Wielka Ochestra’, a Polish charity organization, for the first time collected money south of the equator, in Kenya’s capital city of Nairobi. Due to KPF’s efforts, Kenyan issues frequently appear in the Polish mass media. It is also worth mentioning that we still have many ideas on ways of helping Kenya.
